The way I read it, we are getting the CJ4. Maybe this post is 48 hrs early.:)

It isn't a new type really the 900 is just another remake of a old design. Raytheon just reworks the same old plane over and over and over again.

Over 3 decades of the same design now...

we saw what happened when they tried to design a new airframe (Horizon). YIKES!!!

I wonder if Raytheon will foist another warmed-over, stale design on the world with a "Hawker" 450XP. I haven't heard anything but I wouldn't be surprised if Raytheon tried to draw a few more years (and dollars) out of the Diamond design by putting newer engines and maybe winglets on that plane.

Exactly, the one original thought the Raytheon guys had, turned into a major mess. No wonder they are scared of a "new" design.

Next announcement will be just what Guiter Guy said, winglets on a 400xp and new engines, maybe... Wow a 450.........

Don't forget the Premier abortion.
