Looking for any info about Georgia Jet. The good (hopefully there is some), the bad, and the ugly.Did a search, no luck.

thanks,
Johnny

Great place to work. Paid a day rate, with benefits, and when you return from a trip, you get to do the paperwork, wash the plane, fuel it, vacuum it, stock it, and tug it into the hangar. Great place for pilots that are aspiring to be line workers or training to become aircraft detailers.

from what I have seen/heard...

real bad pay, on call 24/7, no flights all day - hey that was your day off.

its thel standard low-end 135 on demand life

might be a good rating/timebuilding place..???

I'd advise Epps at PDK or Hill at Fulton Co.

GJ is very much bush league.

Resume builder

I do not know what your resume looks like right now, so I am guessing. But if you need the MEL PIC or MEL Turbine SIC and this job gives it to you, it could be the make or break point in your career. To become G200 someday to have to start building your resume. If you can log either MEL time as a PIC in a piston twin or SIC in MEL turbine airplane, you will build your resume. Old adage it is always easier to find a job when you have a job.

Yip,
thanks for the input but I have plenty of turbine PIC. I just like to keep my eyes open just in case a better opportunity presents itself. In fact, I think Ill just count my blessings giving the job market these days.

If not, you might be stuck..

G200, we need a break

Just can't we leave well enought alone, do we want to turn this into a degree debate. I need a break. I will probably not pubiclly post on the degree thing for another month or so. The horse has been vaporized
