...or censured...whatever they call it:

Like there's NEVER been a 'military coverup' before. Geez.

The real travesty would have been if someone had interrupted Gen. Kensinger's putt to inform him of is censure!

If I were retired, and someone started spewing that drivel while putting....

...well...that's just darn right unacceptable!!!

Next step is whether they take his third star or not. My bet? No f'ing way will they try. If they do, I guarantee he comes out swinging - names names, points fingers, goes on O'Reilly, you name it. I'm sure he's a scapegoat, but I'm also sure there's enough blame to go around. This whole Tillman thing has been an embarrasment. It should be a required study honor lesson at the service academies about how telling one lie can get you in a whole crapload of trouble. Not to mention it's made a circus of Pat Tillman's death and opened up the door to conspiracy nutjobs. But why not? Hard to credibly say "Ok, we at first lied about how he died, but this is really the way he died."

Hopefully he's not so into himself that he even gives a $hit. Take away his third star??? Give me a break. Sorta like ALPA demoting you to FO after you retired as a CA. Right? Or is there more to it than that. Are the retirement greenbacks effected if they strip the third star?

I know there are ego's here...but does he have any reason to give a rats ass what the gov't does????

Yes, it does affect retired pay. Once you get three stars, you retire at 100% pay (I think), take it down to two stars and you're talking serious money. Not to mention that you're fuc*ing with someone who spent 35+ years dedicating his life to one thing - the US ARMY. His entire identity is wrapped up in what he did and the career he had. Much more serious than spending 35 years at DAL or something. Ego drives alot of these guys, sometimes to greatness sometimes to ruin. In sum, yes, I'd say it matters a huge deal. You're besmirching an entire career, which means an entire life. Deserved or not, I'd expect some pushback from this guy.
