Fogrunner, how is it like to work as an F/O for Gemini? 2 weeks on/2weeks off schedule? Heard they've frozen the pay scale, any truth in it? How you all see the how the company's business is doing? Chances for upgrade?

I love it here. 99% of the people are great. From the training people to the upper management, I have yet to meet an idiot. I am sure there is the odd one or two out there, but I have yet to encounter the individual. The people here seem to care about each other.

The DC10 schedule is 19 days on 11 off, with majority of the flights out of MIA. The MD11 has better schedules. At the moment all new-hires are going to the 10.

Yes there is a pay freeze.

From my lowly perch, business seems to be doing very well. As you have probably seen this segment of the industry is gradually improving with the likes of Polar, Kallitta, Express Net, hiring folks.
As for upgrade. I cannot give you a definitive answer. They are currently upgrading people, pulling a/c out of the desert and searching for additional MD11s. The most Jr captain has been here 4.5 yrs.
