A King Air 100 is circling FTY with a gear emergency. It is N86TR on a flight from SAV.

Breaking news...... the pilot has a multi-engine rating.

Yeah. Supposedly there is also a "multi-engine" expert in the tower providing guidance.

The news reporters on FOX are saying the pilot has two choices: land with the left main and nose gears down and drag the right wing tip - or - retract the gear so that all are up and make a belly landing.

What would you do?

Turn off Fox News.

Did anyone see the video of this guy bouncing down the rwy trying to get the other main down? Scary stuff, considering the fact he could have "unintentionally" struck the right prop. The last bounce was near the end and within 5 feet of the rwy edge. Not a clever idea, and certainly one the FAA or employer might be interested in.

looks like the gear is up now.

I'm asking the same thing I'm sure a lot of people are asking right now- "Is this terrorism?"
