Garmin 530

Can the new Garmin 530 take input on its screen from a storm scope?

I haven't ever used the 530, but I have flown airplanes with the 430 and Yes the 430 can take input from stormscopes and TCAD, but not from weather radar. It only can use certain stormscopes and I am not sure which ones work with it. I am sure Garmin has a list though. Last I heard they were working on being able to get weather radar on it downloaded from a satelite. I have used the Dual Garmin 430's and also the Avadine 7000 with dual KX165's and I would prefer the King/Avadine combo over the Garmin stack, but everyone has their own preferance.
