Less than 30 days??? screw it. just stay in your house and eat nothing that requires the use of fire, knives, or olive pits. You'll be fine!!!:smash:

Yeah, meanwhile my wife and kid get into an accident. If it were just me and since I'm going to be sitting in a classroom or hotel everyone of those days, then I wouldn't worry about it either. Thanks for all the advice given so far though everyone.
 
If your wife and kid get into an accident then elect the COBRA. 30 days falls within the 60 day period you cab retro-act the COBRA. If you need it the COBRA will be there, if you don't then you would be fine not getting any other insurance. You could get on the new plan without having to spend the money on a gap policy. Whatever you want, and whatever helps you sleep better.

I would go without coverage and elect the COBRA only if your out of pocket for ANY claims would exceed the premium for that month. PM me if you are unsure and I will give you my contact info, it's hard to give you all the facts on FI (I'm not selling anything, I promise).
