The primary responsibility of the Captain is the direct control and the final authority as to the operation of the assigned company aircraft.

The primary role is as the Pilot in command, which includes the safe and efficient ground and in flight control of the aircraft, while meeting our customer's expectations, complying with FAA regulations, and adhering to department operating procedures.

The incumbent must assure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft on all trips, while managing communication and coordination with the assigned crew, dispatch, maintenance and administration. Additionally, he/she must ensure the success and improvement of the entire department through active participation and involvement in operational issues/projects. The Captain must also maintain a thorough knowledge of aircraft systems and procedures through company provided recurrent training and self study. He/she will analyze and comprehend industry, regulatory and Company procedures, regulations, policies, and codes of conduct.
Incumbent must have a minimum of 5,000 hours total flying time, 2,500 hours Pilot in command time in Jet Aircraft, at least 1,500 hours flying time in GIV/GV or G450/G550 Aircraft, International experience, a minimum of 10 years experience in Corporate Aviation, including 5 years experience flying heavy corporate type aircraft.

Must be current in either Gulfstream IV or V aircraft an Airline Transport Pilot license with GIV and or GV type rating, G450/G550 experience preferred, must maintain an FAA First Class Medical.

Must have strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills in working in a team environment.

This should be a fairly good job, I know the chief up there and he is a great guy. Ameriprise is doing very well since breaking away from AMEX. They have a 450 and 550 on order if they have not already taken delivery.

Are they a separate operation from AMEX in SWF? Which airport are they based at?
 
I'm assuming the pay is above standard since the req's are pretty high... TC
