Anybody have the costs for recurrent for both of these aircraft. FSI or CAE. Full service Thanks!

Call them! They will give the price for full service or one time! They are very easy to work with!

If you have to ask...

Prior to Simuflite getting a 450 sim, FSI was very expensive (read Mafia expensive--around $60k for initial). Maybe it's come down. Good luck. TC

Simuflite is definitely less expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Thats a load of bullsh*t. I have gone thru plenty both FSI and Simuflite initials and recurrents, and by far prefer the Simuflite instructors. They are more personable and seem to be a lot less stuck up than some of the (sorry for this) ex-military FSI instructors who seem to think that it's a privilege to be tought by them.
Just my 2 pennies...have at it

I second Fokker. I've had good and not so good experiences at both institutions. FlightSafety may have held the crown at one point but either they got sloppy or just plain forgot that people have choices. Simuflite is cheaper on just about anything and last time I was at FSI TEB they preached about being aware that Brand X is moving "down the street." They have yet to put those words on paper in the form of a competitive price, however, and several of us are slated to try out Simuflite this year to directly compare experiences.

As far as I'm concerned the quality of the training hinges directly on the quality of the instructor(s) you work with during the week, followed by the quality of the materials used. A Level D sim is a Level D sim, doesn't matter which brand is painted on the side.

On a purely capitalist basis Simuflite moving into MMU should launch some positive changes for both brands. FSI TEB & ILG have statetd their awareness of their new "neighbor", hopefully the competition will stengthen both programs.

To answer your question, I'd guess that GWHIZ recurrents run in the ~$20K range. This is purely a guess as I don't have any experience with G programs but have attended F900 recurrents for somewhat less than that figure.

CAE SimuFlite Morristown

First full disclosure. I work at the SimuFlite Morristown Center.

Our G450 and G550 are online and first clients are telling us they love the course.

I think our sales folks are giving deals to get the program going, but I don't deal with sales so I'm not in the know.

We are doing very well. In fact we're starting construction on an expansion adding 10 more sim bays this month. It will open later this year.

FSI must be feeling our presence if they are telling you they are reducing pricing.

I think we would all agree the best thing for corporate aviaition is when pilots have a choice.
