Gulfstream does pre-delivery flights where the aircraft is taken up for many hours and all systems are run through and checked. They've gotta go somewhere... so they might as well have fun. They have a large facility in ATW.

Maybe he was just doing some traffic pattern work at Appleton and had to deviate around some thunderstorms in the midwest and his flight path ended up looking like GV. It's not uncommon.

Well, it does list "Gulfstream Test" as the callsign, so I think that's probably a pretty big clue.

....Pretty sweet though, looks like they flew over my home town.

As others have said, Gulfstream has some sort of completion center at ATW. Took some engineering types from another company there one day.

Spelling out GV with the ground track is pretty cool.
