The big man is getting a G-III. Currently the plan is to keep it 91, but heard rumblings about putting it on a certificate..

Anyone have NBAA, Stanton or Pro Pilot survey numbers? The aircraft will be based on the West Coast.

You know you've made it big when you're boss is gonna pay 3 grand an hour JUST for fuel!

WOW!

And who says the economy is sluggish!!

Way to go man! You scored.

Back on topic. Corp. captain on that size bird out west is gonna bring a salary of about 130 or so. You see slight adjustments for west-coast COL, but very little, as salaries are NEVER adjusted to account for the excessive housing costs when compared to other parts of the country. There's just no way to do it.

But the folks out there tolerate the housing costs in return for the life-style...you know, the great traffic and such..so the same salary on that bird in the middle of the good 'ole USA is about 115.

Have fun

About 5 - 8 tanks of gas = $100,000 - $130,000

You can double your salary with Atlantic Bucks and retire with AVTrip bonds!!

90K is definitely LOW BALLING for a captain on ANY large-cabin biz jet...corp or charter! And it's really low balling for Calif.

Slightly off topic, but why is it that 135 pays less than 91? With all the B.S. that comes with 135, it should be a lot higher than 91.

$90k is CERTAINLY lowball for the WC. TC

Agree, 130K for the cushy 91 gig, then, oh ya, we're now going to start charter services, you'll have to take a pay cut, RIGHT! I don't think so.

I honestly think 135 has a sleaze factor. I have flown 135 so I don't want to offend anyone reading this post.

Cheers- Rum
