Anyone have an opinion on how much longer we will be flying checks around? I heard it may start being phased out around the middlo of 2004.

There are lots of computers in California and New York but they seem to still fly the checks. And I would guess every bank in the US has a computer linked up with the Feds.

I've been told that the banks like the "hard copy" in their hands, and until they feel "safe" they will continue to fly the checks.
