Was wondering if some of you would share your road to JB.

Specifically, who out there is now at JB after being furloughed from another airline? What airline were you with? For how long? And if recalled, would you go back to your previous employer?

It seems from reading some of the JB guys history, I have noticed many with previous experience in Boeings....as well as the many furloughed folks from UAL, AA, USAirways, and NWA with Airbus time.

DAL guy

I was a Delta furloughee
Had been doing the Homeland/TSA thing when I got the call from Dean and it has been great! Last count I think we had 23 ex-DAL guys here.

I've helped TWA, AA, DAL, UAL, and USAir folks get on with JetBlue. At least 2 UAL dudes in latest class are clients...

No kidding--I don't think they care where you worked, just what kind of person you are and if you would fit THEIR company. I haven't seen any backlash at all towards any group.

And...they don't make you resign your seniority. How is that for confidence?

I've been here a very short time and I have 14 in my class with approx 1/3 furloughed guys. (DAL, TWA, US) a few from the regionals (Eagle, COEX and Mesa) and a few guys with only corporate backgrounds. But one thing everyone of those pilots has is a great attitude and exceptional personality. Just a bunch of great people. The targeted interview is no suprise. They are looking for the right crewmembers to fit in the mix here. I think Dean has done an amazing job with the whole process and this is by far the best place I've ever worked! Lots of expansion in the works and a solid managment team who actually care about there crewmembers!

good luck to all
