Guys,
What is actually involved in a "fuel set up" on a piston twin. Say something like a Navajo or 400 series cessna. I'm under the impression that when it's done correctly, a large gauge or other equipment is connected to the engine with the cowling off and the settings are adjusted through a range of power settings. I'm dealing with a shop right now that seems to think that they can do it just by using the 30+ year-old analog fuel flow dial in the aircraft and the engines never seem to run right afterwards. Any opinions?
