hey Mike, we now use ponca city, oklahoma (PNC) as a fuel stop both ways east and west even when we can make it non stop west to east. the fbo there is greenwood aviation and they can quick turn you fast. we also use colt, world, phoenix, mariah and one more that escapes me right now but are based in bartlesville,ok. as you probably already know about salina we also use lincoln nebraska as a fuel stop when tracks east or west work. we buy minimum fuel at expensive fbo's and tanker when we can get it cheap and it works out for the trip. sometimes you just have to bite the bullet, but our pilots have access to all those fuel links and shop for fuel every trip. we are a 91 operator but know of some 135 guys who tack on a fuel surcharge when going to places where fuel is expensive. sometimes if a client is insistent on a particular fbo, they tack on a fuel surcharge if it is not the fbo with the cheapest fuel.
