This FSAT issued 9/24/02 has verbage and explicit procedures in it that allows off line jumpseaters in the cockpit. Anyone else heard about this.

Jumpseat

I've only scanned over the FSAT; however, one key sentence is, "Security directives may further restrict access to the flightdeck." The latest SD dated 16 Oct 02 still restricts access to the jumpseat to employees of the carrier.
