Anyone have any info about them? Culture, pay, schedule, etc?
That is, info beyond that they are in Fairbanks and its cold. :)

Thanks!

Might just be a better predicament than being a 5.5 year Saab FO at Mesaba.

I think 1900 fo pay is 20/hr and I know some people get a one week on week off schedule out of fai, not sure if it goes for all the crews. they move you to the bush after that and most likely into the navaho, two weeks on then off for two. I am guessing navaho pay in the bush would be around 60k per year to start. as far as qol I think the captins are pretty happy if you can handle the cold.

If you want to pay $11,000 to sit right seat in Navajo then I say go for it!

I might not know too much about the company, that is one thing that I know they no longer do. The website no longer advertises the program as well.

Checko,

I don't fly for them but I have spoken with some of their pilots and do jump seat with them on occasion. Everything I have heard is good. Sitting right seat can be tough (pay wise) but once you get the hours and upgrade into the Navajo the pay is good. I have heard $4-5000.00 a month on a 2 week on 2 week off schedule. An upgrade as a Captain into the 1900 (from the Navajo) pays good as well. I have been told that the typical upgrade goes from right seat in a 1900 or some other twin to left seat in a Navajo to left seat in a 1900. They will hire pilots with a twin rating only and train them. If you get an offer from them I would encourage you to consider it. They usually hire only on recommendations from other pilots. Once you get the hours you will be making some bucks and Alsaka is a fun State to fly in. It's a dry cold up here (Western Alaska) so it is not as bad as people think. Again...I don't work for them...but I have heard all good things. Hope this helps. I am thinking about applying with them myself but have family in the lower 48 and commute back and forth so I am still on the fence. Good luck.
