Frontier’s Service from Trenton Takes Flight

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Frontier Airlines today launches nonstop service from Princeton/Trenton, NJ, to Tampa, Fla. (TPA) and Fort Myers, Fla. (RSW). Tomorrow, nonstop service to New Orleans, La. (MSY) begins. On Saturday, nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (FLL) commences. These new flights join Frontier’s existing service from Princeton/Trenton to Orlando, Fla. (MCO) which doubles in frequency starting this weekend. Frontier is the only airline providing scheduled service out of Trenton-Mercer Airport, the gateway to New Jersey’s state capital, all of central New Jersey, and southeast Pennsylvania, including metro Philadelphia. To celebrate the new service, Frontier is offering fares as low as $99 each way to Fort Lauderdale, available for purchase at FlyFrontier.com.
In addition to today’s launch of nonstop service to Florida and New Orleans, Frontier recently announced that it will now provide customers throughout New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania with convenient, low-fare service from Princeton/Trenton to Atlanta, Chicago-Midway, Columbus, Detroit, and Raleigh/Durham beginning in early April 2013.
“We are excited to offer the only nonstop service from Princeton/Trenton to these great destinations in Florida and Louisiana,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice president, commercial. “Customers who fly from Trenton-Mercer Airport can enjoy using a small airport with easy access to I-95 as well as the great low fares offered at FlyFrontier.com.”

Does anyone know how Frontier is doing in TNN? I know in the past Eastwind Airlines flew out Trenton and did last 4 years.

Thanks. Glad to hear that. Due to this new expanding in TNN. Does Frontier have any plans to begin hiring soon?

I heard the loads were good. My guess is the yields are low since we are damn near giving away tickets since its a new market.
