I saw an ad for freight runners, hiring BE-99 pilots. I called their office and talked to some strange guy named Matt about the job. They don''t seem to pay very much and I really got a weird vibe from the guy I talked to. Does anyone have any experience with this company or know anything about them? Thanks

Well I interviewed with them last year, seems like a good place to get some good experience. Pay is pretty low, 28K to start. Occacionally you'll do some on call stuff which will help yo make some extra cash. Their MX seemed to be in order. The chief pilot at the time when I interviewed was a guy named patrick, really nice guy. The guy Matt I think is the same guy that asked me pretty much all the HR stuff, he is kinda weird. He's ok though. I was offered a job there, but turned it down for something much better paying. Their routes seem to be really easy.
Good: Flying Multi PIC turbine which can open alot of doors in other king air equipment. Easy routes (most of them), pretty stable work.
Bad: Low pay, benefits are OK, 1 year training contract, and you'll fly nothing but routes up in the north (FU**ING COLD!!!!) I dont know about you but it's a bit to cold for me up there.

Not a good company to work for. Treat pilots like crap. Routes are short and not good for time building. On demand pilots have no life, have to be airborne in 30 min. Pay is low and schedual sucks.
