I dont know if this bugs anyone else, but I am damn tired of being in the Ops room only to find out that I have to leave from the D concourse. Then I go outside and I see freedom and Chautauqua parked like rockstars. Then I see these scabs walk around the crew lounge like they own the place. Somebody please leave me a valium or cyanide in my mailbox!! I cant take the rampage of sky whores about!

I wouldn't call parking at the end of D concourse, "Rock Star Parking."

And CHQ parks over on B now, so they are nowhere near our crew rooms.

I'm going to go with the "Flame Bait" theory!! Other DCI carriers no longer park on C concourse. If for some reason they are it's b/c of lack of space every where else.
As for them in the crew lounge, I have never once seen another crew in our lounge other than Comair crews......and I am in the lounge more than I would like to admit

Scabs, really so the dues they pay every month are paid to whom? It is not your flying, it is not yours get over it.

Also, talking over them is the reaction management wants, for all the carriers to fight and hate. Makes it easier to divide and conquer.

Absolutely correct. Management of all the regional carriers live in absolute fear their worst nightmare will come true. Pilots of ALL airlines unite. But reading this board they probably think that will never happen.

Good god, im so glad i left the regional airline world. Do you even know what a scab is?

Johnny,

Obviously most posters on this board do NOT know what a SCAB is because they were still in mommies womb the last time someone actually crossed the line. NO, I'm NOT a SCAB and NO, I don't fly for Freedom. We have some High School kids on this board who tend to whine more than they care about solving problems and trying to better our profession.

Fact is, 99% of Freedoms pilot group is from the MESA master seniority list and NOT from the original non-union start-up.

Over-used terms:

SCABS
Rockstar

Both terms have lost any sort of meaning.

Lemme guess whats next...you gonna start flying the "metal" horns?

I understand there alot more A listers than that there.

Just curious, but how are the A listers treated by their coworkers?

And I have to echo what Sinca said. Outside of the random Comair pilot I don't see any other crew in the lounge.

How do you have any clue who's on this board since this is your first month? Or are you the reincarnation of someone who was banned? D'Angelo maybe?

Like consumate professionals, if they want to keep their jobs.

It's called harassment, and the company takes it very, very seriously. There were a couple of "taken to the woodshed" moments and at least one firing when that whole mess got squished back together.

It's still a pretty raw topic, I guess, but it's not one that's brought up much in public.

Interesting how you can paint with a broad bush 2000+ pilots.

You must be a real pleasure to fly with. Any other groups (minorities, perhaps), you'd like to pile on?

Maybe "adults" who still live with their parents? (opps, that might be too close to home).

You understand wrong. The origional A listers were all CRJ guys and Freedom now is all ERJ and Dash. There are a few A listers who have upgraded to the ERJ but that is it. Nice try though. Bean

They are not all CRJ guys. There is a number of furloughed United and US Airways huys as well.

I walked through your crew lounge once because I was looking for a copy machine. Nobody was rude to me, and in fact most were cordial.

Sometimes you guys will come over to my plane and ask what's up. Or say hi in the terminal. You seem surprised that I am actually nice to you. What's up with that? We have no beef with you guys, just our management.

The other post about divide and conquer is right on. Think about that next time.

This thread has nothing to do with WHO is on the board. It has all to do with people labeling all of Freedom as SCABs. Do you know what a SCAB is?

I think its abosolutely hilarious that you think you must have some sort of "senoirity" with posts on this board to be considered credible. I shouldn't expect anymore though from some of the posts I've read from you. I think you're just upset because I don't hold your mighty ideals.

Yeah, I'm new to the board, but I may know more than what you actually can conceive......Who the hell is D'Angelo? One of your former stalkers?

BTW, I do respect your Avatar and name. I love diving....

Fly Safe!

Differ from what?

It was a mispelling should read Defer, I guess it can't be edited after a couple of hours.

In addition to the other comments by people much more smarter than the idiot that posted the scab post, I would like to include the fact that "we" do not make the decisions. The company does. Just as Comair, ASA, Chq and the rest. I have never been non union and never will. When another pilot shows up for the jumpseat, we are more than accomodating to them. When I am in the ATL crewroom, nobody says derogatory remarks. In fact, others are down right friendly to us. As for the "A" listers, I have heard there are a couple teaching in PHX, but I do not think I have ran across any flying. The "A" listers are still despised by others within our company, rightly so. We are fighting for the same things that every regional pilot group is fighting for and I have never served with a better, more professional group of people. I think it is time for others to become more educated on the freedom facts before they run their pieholes, as it really does make them look like idiots.

The APU is a piece of crap on a 145. They tried to improve it with a FADEC version but it is no better.

Freedom only has contract MX in ATL (for now). So the ATL planes probably won't get an APU MEL removed until they route through MCO for company MX.
