Mesa Sucks!!!!

Maybe the CVG Comair rampers/gate agents will sabotage their performance numbers the way they do ours at ASA.

It's the only plausible excuse for the lame ass handling we *always* seem to get there.

I don't know where this is coming from. Of all the times that I have been in and out of CVG, I have been treated great by the agents and ground crews, and been early 99% of the time.

No, it's not just you. They've stopped caring too.

Ever since they decided to fire all the senior rampers in the name of saving money. That and they are almost always short staffed anyways.

Come on now Comair may have many flaws but their ramp is by far better then any out there. I talk to many ASA crews that have nothing but great things to say about the Comair stations.

Almost always had great handling at CVG (compared to ATL), but they have become progressively more "Atlantacized". Cant blame them for not giving a shight anymore, bad goes around.

As to MCO- what has F8 been doing, a handful of flights? There are only 20 or so RJs a day now (the lions share being EV) and next to none come Sept.

Maybe I've just had a string of bad luck.

Seems like there's always just stupid problems for us there.

Glad to hear it's not pervasive and they're just isolated incidents that I've encountered.

I guess I have that same bad luck. Two weeks ago tug was left in drive and smoked our tow bar that was connected to the nose gear. We then get a crew delay called on us for "late completion of pilot checklist"....Their ramp ops are going down faster than a bonanza full of doctors

The way Comair/Delta has slashed staffing levels across the board, I guess we are all lucky someone even comes out to push back the airplane.

Soon, the FA and the FO will have to get out and push. At Comair, the FA will be enough.

Why's that??? Did most of them used to be the anchor in "tug of war" in college??? Do they walk sideways down the aisle???

Well im sure you guys have been waiting for me to chime in on the topic...here we go:

-MCO ERJ Freedom Bases closes 9/21
-The CVG base opens the 1st of Oct. for the Freedom ERJ
- Delta has NOT given us any plans for flying the ERJ past oct.
-Delta filed its appeal to the injunction the day before the deadline
- Word is, lotz has been in ATL a lot lately. Looks like talks of a possible settlement.
-We made the 14mil. lease payments on the ERJ. we are out of the woods till Feb 09 when 100mil worth of bonds are due.
- JO plans to milk as much money as possible out of Delta(no surprise there).

last but not least....

This whole industry is headed to hell in a hand basket..

Don't forget the Aloha Lawsuit. Trial, I believe, is set to begin in October '08.

Trojan

No doubt. Now they'll have it called to their faces.

Literally.

All done by the CVG Ops in writing.
