I just had an interview that went very well, except for the sim portion. I don't have any Frasca time, so I was obviously overwhelmed by the touchy feel of the sim. Does anyone know of any Frasca twin sims around the Norfolk, VA (within 200 miles) area that can be rented for practice. I plan on interviewing with this place again in 6 months and will hopefully be better prepared. Thanks for any help!

Try Dulles Aviation at Manassas (HEF) phone is 703 361 2171 they have a frasca 142 twin engine sim. Dunno how much it rents for, but its only like a 2hr drive from ORF. Heres their website too. www.flydai.com

They are VERY touchy. Focus on the Attitude indicator. When you want flaps, put your hand on the flap handle, and move it while you're looking at the ADI. Also, SLOW DOWN! Pull the speed back early so it's not overwhelming.

Thanks

Thanks for the advise. At least I know what to expect next time. I'll try getting some time at the Dulles place.
