FRASCA in Chicago area

Does anybody know which flight schools have a FRASCA sim and offer a IFR refresher course in the Chicago area and how much it costs. Any info would be appreciated.

Check out proficientflight.com..It's up north in the MKE area but they offer a full blown IFR refresher in one day.
Are you working with C8 or ATA? Just curious..a former intern at C8.

Well, I am currently retired if you consider leaving a job recently to take the summer off. In other words, job hunting....I did the C8 internship for 5 months during school and was never given an opportunity to interview after I graduated school and reached the minimums working as a instructor. I still conversate with many of the guys on the line there and I am resonably optimistic that I might be given an opportunity, like yourself, in the future.

American Flyers at both DPA and PWK have FRASCA sims... I think they offer an IFR refresher course that includes some sim time and some ground time and some aircraft time...

I wonder if they have them down at Frasca Field near CMI.

You can also go to Airway Flight Services at Palwaukee airport. They rent it for $100/hr. or $900 for a block of 10 hrs (including the instructor). They have the 142G model. (847) 215-0098. How do I know so much about it? I used to work there... Tell 'em Dave L. sent ya.

...and yes, they do have them at Frasca field. If you want to buy one!
