I know most airlines have posted minimums, but competitive minimums seem to be quite a bit more. Is this also the case with fractionals too?

A little off the topic, but am approaching the 1500 hours shortly and am wondering if I should keep on trying to get in with a regional airline or should I just take a freight job I've been offered in the Carolinas. It's flying multi (PISTION) aircraft, but I figured if I can get the 2500TT needed for the likes of NetJets then a year with the cargo outfit flying multi would see me meet their minimums. But would it get me an interview - especially as it is piston time I'll be marketing myself with? Would this be a good option or should I wait it out longer and see if a regional picks me up.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks.

BritishGuy....2500 hours are the absolute mins for NetJets. Right now, the average guy getting hired has quite a bit more time AND has it in some form of Regional Jet.

Personally.....take the regional jet job.....its a safer environment than flying freight in beat up pistons. Start applying to NetJets, or any of the fractionals, once you hit the magic hour mark and update the app every 6 months or so.
