Your phone will ring, your answer, then someone will ask numerous questions. You then hang up and will decide if they want to talk to you anymore.

All kidding aside, it varies extremely from company to company. I will assume you are inferring a call for a pilot position. It may be a call from flight department personnel or from HR. Most are typical prescreen questions (why us? what do you bring? do you know what we do?) By "what we do", I don't mean fly jets. What does the company do. It is your time to sell yourself. If you do not, then don't expect a follow up face interview.

They want to make sure you pass the fist A$$hole test on the phone before they bring you in to pass they bring you in to see if you pass the second one.
