Ft. Lauderdale Fire Rescue fire department sprayed flame retardant around the planes as a precaution in case the accident caused highly flammable avgas to spill.

Well there's your problem!

Caravan was being towed out of the NW corner of the airport. A sabre was taxiing in under power and would not yield to the aircraft outbound. Ground got involved and told the sabre to execute a 180 and yield to the caravan. Reports were that the sabre's power was above a "normal" taxiing setting. The airplane executed a 180 at a high rate of speed toward a Hawker being pulled on a tug. The tug driver jumped off the tug and the hawker rolled into the sabre. All this from a midnight ramp supervisor at an FBO there.
 
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffin glue.....
