Hey folx

Question: Every once in a while (bout 6x a year) there's some dude sprayin smoke in the sky, writin stuff like "God Luvs U", "Jesus is good", etc etc.

He must be at about 10,000ft but I managed to hear him once, sounded like a radial. Saw him yesterday right above FLL. Don't know how he gets away with it.

Anyone know anything about this fruitloop?

Geez don't get your lil panties in a bunch, man. Have a cold margarita, it's friday. I wasn't discussing WHAT the guy was writing, I simply found it interesting that anyone would spend all afternoon skywriting like that. I don't care if he's advocating eating dog $hit or killing Osama bin laden. Wasn't my point at all.

Oh well, too late now, I've inadvertently started another religion war at flightinfo.

have a nice weekend.

And when i said "gets away with it", I didn't mean getting away with what he wrote but rather how he gets away with doing seemingly random lazy 8s all over the place while traffic zips all around.

The majical cloud man (the one who will send you to burn in he!! for eternity if you don't bow down and kiss his @$$...but he loves you!) parts the sky for those who wish to spread his good word toward those sinners below.

Uh oh!!!

He goes to my church Calvary Chapel of FLL, I know him personally and he is a great guy. He does all that stuff for free, obviously he got your attention. Maybe you need to pay attention to what it says. Or maybe you need to stop by Calvary Chapel just north of FXE and check it out. Since the majority of the people that work at FXE go there (total attendance about 20K) it can't be that bad. Cheers.

Calvary rocks! Was going there when I lived in Boca but now I go to a Calvary around here. I still watch Bob on the Web though. Here is the link for anyone who is truly seeking God (Pastor Bob explains the Bible really well.) It's not like some churches that are just after your money it's so awesome how he just preaches what the bible says. May God bless you all. Sorry to have gotten so condemning in the previous post, I just can't believe people truly hate the idea of God. I don't want to sound arrogant but please learn about what you are talking about before you draw conclusions. Just cause you have an opinion or something seems to (or doesn't seem to) make sense to you doesn't make it true or false. Remember if you seek you shall find. I've searched the other things the world has to offer about God (or lack thereof) I have tested Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Atheism, and Agnosticism and have concluded that the absolute truth is Christianity. Search for the truth unbiased in the same way and see what you conclude. I hope you know that you know what you say you know about things as serious as eternity.

also crash-proof by calling him a fruit loop you kinda implied that you were object to WHAT the guy was writing. Sorry again that i misunderstood you but I'm not sure i did.

Maybe you need to stop preaching to other people who don't have your same beliefs. Maybe if you worried about yourself and your family, and let other people worry about themselves and their families, life just might be a little better for all of us on this planet.

hay

I feel a healing comming on ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Leap Of Faith,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, check one two check ,,, ok lets go breath some life into some meaningless lives.

agreed! thanks for being the first to say so.

That church sucks. It makes a mess of the area when they let out. You southern baptist need to go elsewhere with your fire and brimstone talk. I personally think the guy who writes those messages is a fruitloop. Just my pathitic heathen two sents.
dude

I think your confusing it with the Benny Hin movement (totally different)

It’s not a southern Baptist church. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Why even bother? I sometimes wonder and think about the verse talking about throwing pearls before swine. Why should I care? And then I remember how I used to feel about the whole God thing. I had my own beliefs and didn't want to be bothered. And then one day when I realized how wrong I was i realized it was because someone else took the time to tell me the truth. I don't think anyone who is truly a Christian is trying to convert anyone else (that's what Jehovah Witnesses must do to get to heaven {so they think},) I think it is more that we are trying to share some of the treasure we have found with the rest of the world. So sorry for caring. Remember it's obviously not natural to accept God so the only way to figure it out is when someone cares enough to tell you. You think it's easy to be an outcast? It really isn't all that fun trying to explain something to someone who thinks they have all the answers but in reality don't have a clue as to what they are talking about (kinda like a pilot trying to explain a necessary flight delay to angry passengers.) Sorry if it bothers you but maybe I won't stop sharing my beliefs and being bold for Christ's sake because it is not a maybe issue, it's not about what I believe it is 100% absolute truth and if you choose to reject that so be it but as it is being projected and you are rejecting someone else might be accepting.
Romans 10 v 14
14But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? 15And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"[7]
16But not everyone welcomes the Good News, for Isaiah the prophet said, "Lord, who has believed our message?"[8] 17Yet faith comes from listening to this message of good news--the Good News about Christ.

Oh and BTW—You contradict yourself by saying “Maybe if you worried about yourself and your family, and let other people worry about themselves and their families, life just might be a little better for all of us on this planet.” If you really feel that way then why contribute your belife about the subject?

You just won't stop will you???

You know i take it all back.... he IS a fruitloop and you are too.
And does your god talk about polluting the earth? Well, tell ya what God must be coughin up there with all that smoke.

That's the point that you aren't intelligent enough to figure out. I don't think for one-second I have all the answers. Frankly, I would rather not know all the answers. What you can't figure out though, is that you don't have all the answers either and you don't have a clue what you are talking about.

Recite all the mumbo jumbo BS you want. It's just that... Mumbo Jumbo BS.

If you really feel that way then why contribute your belife about the subject?

I contribute my belief about this subject because you have jumped in my face with your belief. My point was, once again, that if you don't push your crap on me, I won't have to push your crap back in your face and then we all live happily ever after.

Why don't you join your fellow promise keepers and keep your crap out of here.

So if you don't have all the answers then asuming that is the answer once again contradicts itself.

I'm not jumping in anyones face forcing them to belive in anything. I'm just sharing the truth as you are sharing your belifes. Do as i say don't do as do?

Here is my take on this subject...

Most anthropologists believe that the transformations which allowed humans to think and behave in a recognisably modern fashion happened gradually and were a result of demographic and cultural changes. However, according to an expert on human origins at Stanford University these transformations have a biological explanation and were not gradual. According to his theory 50,000 years ago genetic mutations resulted in a creativity gene that led to the development of the modern mind and started a cultural revolution by triggering biological changes in the brain and vastly improving the human ability to communicate. Religion is considered a form communication. This mutation allowed humans to evolve even more so and not to kill ourselves off.

So to make it simple and even more to the point, religion was and is an evlutionary process.

If you want more I will dig up my thesis this weekend. ;)

Better yet here is another point of view on religion.

It is way to keep the masses in check. It is a control factor. So What better way to say that your ruler/king/queen/bishop/pharaoh is a descendent of god therefor they are speaking on the behavior of God or in the word of God, when actually it all hypochral oxy moronic.

When all religious state that "man" kind was created in the image of god therefor would we not be gods ourselves and the need of religion.

------------------------ Update---------------

p.s. As with man kind being on evolutionary scale so is religion, if you were take yourself and transport back into time 10,000 years you would be deemed a god/saint/whatever. If you would take a man and transport him to the future 10,000 years he would be deemed mentally challenged and inferior, or mentally handicapped. Therefor, proving that religion is socially biased and evolutionary the more you know the less you fear of A God.

P.S. Never F%$# with MENSA
