In studying up for the commercial written/oral, I came across the term "rotor cloud."

I started to think about it and realized that I didn't know what one looked like, so I hopped on google and found this site, which is all about mountain wave and it's associated effects...complete with pretty pictures for all of us "dumb guys."

It seems to the be the most thorough site that I've found on this subject, and I thought it was worth sharing....
