Metro 301 offer us something we can work with.

Do your masters in CT know that you polish your Harley (or is it only a Sporster) on Company time.

Threats never have worked.

Lay down the company manual

"Airline Managment For Dummies"

:D

While I would never be accused of being a fan of that individual (no, really!); in all fairness I don't believe that he is in anyway involved with the decision making in this process. He is just left to clean up the mess.

That said, making remarks regarding a junior FO who was extended in violation of the contract to "go fly it and then grieve it if you must" is a stellar example of the moral character (and the character of OUR morale) we are dealing with.

The irony being that as I heard of this statement in the crew room in PIT, our DO was passing through on his all-expense paid commute to wherever.....

You gone to straight pipes on that hog yet? Remember, it's not a Harley unless you're waking the neighbors.

The comment regarding the Harley was for the benefit of Mr. Stop Wexford, he brought it up in posts many months ago. It was an attempt at humor.

I will probably regret making this post in such a public forum, however, I would like a chance to express my opinion for a moment.

I have attempted to remain neutral during this whole ordeal. I understand that is almost impossible as I wear the cloaks from the dark side (management). Every time I have been in PIT, I have refrained from giving anything other than the facts as I understood them. If I ever offered a personal opinion it was simply to state that I hoped that the investors were bluffing.

I do not recall ever making the comment "go fly it and then grieve it if you must". There was a situation were an FO was taken under the 10 day guarantee. I did make comments regarding the situation last year were this turned into a grievance; which was ultimately resolved. Of course, I know that I have never been quoted out of context in the past.

Stop Wexford is correct, I am not a party to the decision making process. I can tell you that the big decisions come down from the investors. From my vantage point this whole situation is terribly unfortunate, and it has disrupted the operation to an extreme. Like you and everyone else on the line, I have had to sit back and watch this progress through its steps.

This whole situation has been frustrating for everyone, Pilots, FA’s, Administrative-Operational Staff, Mechanics, and Station Personnel. Having been here since the inception of the Original Shuttle America it does hurt me personally to see what has transpired. I guarantee you that many people have had many sleepless nights worrying about the outcome of this whole situation. My hope is that we are somehow able to move forward past the anger and frustration (whatever the outcome of your vote is), and attempt to reconstruct the morale of this Company.

On a final note; the bike is a Dyna, not a Skirtster. I do not polish it on Company time. Neither do I elevate my BAC on Company time, however over the past several months it has been tempting.

Stop Wexford: Vance and Hines straight shots, baffles removed. They can set off a car alarm at 10 feet.

I am also posting this on my lunch break.

Thank you for your post
I have to fly for a living, so I can’t respond within 15 minutes.

I understand your current position, but this tit for tat has to stop.
The working environment has become extremely stressful.
PIT ground crews have become openly hostile.
Even my landlady already, asked me if I will break my lease, (not if, but) when the company folds.

To stop Wexford
I understand he cleaning up the mess made by others.
When I walk my dog I do not mind cleaning up behind her.
Looks like Metro 301, has to clean up the mess left behind by an 9000 lbs Elephant.

About the Harley
When this mess is over can I bring my Vespa?

In 1984 I used to have a Honda Spree.

37mph (if the downhill grade was steep enough)

Black, but with pansy-purple lettering (hey, it was the 80's)

Do you think he will take us on weekend ride. If there is such a thing as a weekend.
Maybe Sturgis?
