Just seeing if anyone else has any suggestions. Any help will be appreciated.

**CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED**!

Just how many tickets you got?

Just how many DUI’s do you have?

Just how many wrecks have you been in?

Just how many folks have you killed?

$150 a month for cycle insurance? YIKES!!!

State farm.

I'm 26, married, no accidents or tickets, full coverage with a $500 deductible on a 1999 Suzuki GSXR600 runs a whopping $12 a month.

insurance companies suck

clean record
23 yrs old
no tickets
no accidents
unmarried
2001 Suzuki Katana 600
with 1000 deductible

Maybe I just have to wait until I turn 25

26 year old male

1 speeding ticket

2 accidents

married

$36 per month with USAA for full coverage on a 96 suzuki GS500

I hear American Family has some good rates as well

Stay away from AllState, the company of choice for Satan and masochists

Hey Jergar 999, where do you live. I live in South Florida, and to insure a 2003 R1 they wanted 12000 a year. I need to get on with State Farm from what my buddies are telling me.
dude

I never knew I had it so cheap with USAA.

I'm 34, single, no accidents, last ticket was in '92.

1997 Yamaha YZF-600, full coverage, in SoCal.
Comprehensive loss deductible $100
Collision loss deductible $250

A total of $30 per month. I sure am glad Dad was in the service and hooked me up with USAA!!!

Sounds like jergar999 might be the low-price winner though.

I live in South Dakota, so you can only really ride 7-8 months of the year here. State Farm is so cheap, especially for sport bikes because their rates are based on CC's only, not specific models. My Suzuki is 598cc's so it costs very little. I have a friend who is much older with a clean record, married, and he pays three times what I do for a Harley 1340. I also took the motorcycle safety course, have been with State Farm for several years, and insure my vehicles with them too, that may be why me premiums only went up 12 a month with the motorcycle.

go to the farm

A couple of years ago i had a suzuki sv650. I insured it through State Farm. I had house, 2 cars, disability, life and motorcycle insurance with them. State Farm gives discounts for multiple policies. I paid 35 bucks per month.

One other oddball thing:

About three months ago, I called every insurance agent I could find in the phone book and on the internet. Of the 16 quotes I got, 4 were from different State Farm agents, the first three were the most expensive of all the quotes I got, the last was the cheapest. What a weird business insurance is.

one problem with state farm

the only problem with state farm is in LA they are not writing any new policies...so Im screwed
My friend has a GSXR1000, the fastest bike on the planet..
with one DWI, two wrecks and a totaled ZX-9r and he pays
$80 a month
go figure............

I just switched a few years ago from GEICO to state farm, and it cut my policy in half for the same coverage. I offered to stay with them in return for a slot at NetJets, since they're owned by the same company, but they declined.

Statefarm all the way.

1999 when I got my 1992 CBR600F2. Age 21, single a couple of tickets at the time. Columbus, Ohio
All rates per year.
Allstate:$1800 full coverage.
Progressive:$1200 full coverage.
State Farm:$650 full coverage.
$250 deductibles.

Now Age 25, still single, 1 speeding ticket which will go off insurance radar in January. Rates dropped down to $284.80 per year with state farm still.
Geico blows they give a lousy 15% discount to Uncle Warren's employees.
I work at Netjets. I am in the stock room at present time I am trying to get hired upstairs as a Dispatcher since I have had the license for 2.5 years now and haven't gotten to use it. Then someday fly for them in the far off future.

Try Dairyland

gdub: I bought a new Harley Softtail in 2000 and had the first year insurance thrown in with the deal and was given the price of $344 per year. Full coverage with $500.00 deductable. Dairyland writes policies on high risk people when no one else will. If you are low risk you get a decent rate. Any independent insurance agent can hook you up or try online. I think they cover all 50 states.

If you live in the state of Florida, you are not required to have insurance on a motorcycle. They don't expect you to survive.

Something happened with the insurance rates here in Florida within the last year. My insurance just renewed and the cost for my Harley doubled - no tickets in the last 3 years and no wrecks or DUI's period. Did we pass some type of "no helmet" law?

No helmet law.

Yes YOU did. I think the law in FL. changed in 2001. The No Helmet Law has been adopted in many states in the past few years and the insurance rates have skyrocketed in those states.
BUT; Florida is the only state that I'm aware of that does not require insurance on a motorcycle.
