Can anyone recommend a good fondue restaurant in Chicago or the Chicago suburbs. I heard of one in Denver called "La Fondue" that is supposed to be awesome.

Thanks!

Sorry, no info on Fondue in Chicago but there is a pretty good restaurant in the Dallas Metroplex called "Simply Fondue", just in case you are ever in the area!;)

There is a Restaurant called "The Melting Pot" they have 3 locations in Illinois:

Melting Pot
(847) 342-6022
1205 W Dundee Rd
Buffalo Grove, IL 60089

Melting Pot
(847) 843-8970
255 W Golf Rd
Schaumburg, IL 60195

Melting Pot Restaurant
(630) 495-5778
17W633 Roosevelt Rd
Villa Park, IL 60181

I been there, it isn't bad... kinda pricey but good...

Hope this helps... which airport will you be flying into?

Gejas

It was still there as of a year ago. Get a reservation!!!!!! Last minuter calls usually mean a 2 hour wait and its very cramped in the bar. Excellent food, great place to bring a date, and will run you about $100 - $150 with drinks/wine.

Rice

Thanks guys... that's just what I was looking for! I looked up fondue on Metromix.com and DigitalCity.com and both Geja's and The Melting Pot came up. Glad to hear that they both come recommended. I acutally fly out of DPA but i've never been to a fondue restaurant before, and I was hoping some of the pilots on this board would be able to recommend something.

Thanks again... I'll have to try one of the two places.

Does anyone else find it funny that a pilot is asking for locations of Fondue joints, instead of something like where the Taco Bell can be found in Concourse C? :D
