Fokker @ SDF

Anybody know who owns/operates the Fokker 70/100 that operates in and out of SDF? It seems like I see this aircraft at least three times a week.

It belongs to Ford Motor Company. They use it as a corporate shuttle based out of DTW.

I figured it was FoMoCo, but wasn't sure. Seems like they are the only major corporation in the 'Ville to need a large shuttle like that.

No, it was a freight company out of Middletown, Ohio. We mainly flew automobile parts.

I think I heard it all until I was called a "Friendship 70" the other day!!!!! If you squint hard enough it looks a little like Alan Shepards capsule, "Friendship 7" though !!!!!!

Daily, it's identified as a Falcon; sooooo it must be a Falcon then. Boy I bet the Dutch are pissed; first Boeing drives them out of business, then Dassault gets credit for the Fokker 70 What's going to happen when there's a "corporate" F100 flying soon......
