I just saw this post over on PPrune, does anyone here on this forum work for Focus or know anyone there?



I just heard from a friend of mine, that Focus Air Cargo is running into some financial difficulties. Their major financer has cut off their money supply, and the airline is desperately looking for other sources of cash. There will be no further fleet expansion beyond the 4 planes they operate, and that furlough notices may be going out this week.

Will any Focus pilot on this forum verify what I have heard from my buudy?

Would you care to elaborate? I just want someone from Focus to clear up these rumors now circulating, I'm not bashing anyone. Heck, Atlas even announced furloughs may be coming this year!

Furloughed buddy from Polar was to start class in January and they cancelled with 2 days notice via email.

This would fit in with the above information.
