Rumor says Focus Air have a few financial problems.

Some of the investors are getting cold feet and pulling out?
The 4th airplane is cancelled?

Anybody?

I thought Focus was in the running to buy Polar? Killed that rumor.

I hear that Focus is going to declare BK ver soon.

I hear that Focus is going to declare BK ver soon.

That is what I heard too, yet they keep new hire training going.
Talked to a guy last night, who is doing day 3 of the sim in MIA:
He have not heard of any financial problems or near BK.

If a company can't pay bills, the first thing the pull the plug on is training.

Talked to 2 fellow pilots over at Focus and they both said the same:

No truth to the rumors about BK and cancelled deliveries.
The fourth jet is on the way, but delayed due to problems found in a heavy-check.

Training is humming along, all is well.

I am hearing that Focus is doing just fine. I know about seven pilots over there.

Of course as pilots, we are the last to know anything.... ')

With the 747 program over at Tradewinds apparently in tatters and furloughing, Focus, Connie Kallita, et al, are likely to have no problem recruiting qualified 747 FOs and FEs.
