Focus Air Cargo- A part 121 Air Carrier is seeking B747 Captains and First Officers for our growing all cargo airline. We are accepting resumes at this time. Direct hire Captain positions are available to qualified individuals who possess B747 command or Heavy Jet International experience, rapid upgrade for First Officers will be offered to individuals with previous B747 or Heavy jet experience as well. Focus Air is seeking highly qualified crew members for the following positions

  • 747 Classic Captains with prior experience given preference.
  • Captains with extensive international heavy jet experience.
  • First Officers with 747 classic experience or international heavy jet experience.
  • Flight Engineers with 747 classic experience or international heavy jet experience.
  • Second Officer Program – Seeking pilots with 2 years domestic part 121 experiences and strong academic back ground. See minimums below.
Focus Air is an international ACMI cargo company that flies long term contracts for the world’s top airlines throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Focus Air operates a fleet of Boeing 747 classics. Captains Minimums:

  • Minimum time – Fixed wing: 5,000 hours
  • Minimum time – Multi-engine fixed wing: 4,000 hours
  • 2,500 hours PIC (500 hours 747 PIC time for initial hiring or currently flying 747 classic as PIC)
  • 3,000 hours turbojet
  • ATP (747 Classic Type rating preferred)
  • 3 years part 121/135 experience
  • Must possess current Passport from The United States of America
  • FCC Radio/Telephone license
  • Must be able to travel in and out of U.S. to all countries/cities served by the new airline
  • Current FAA First class Medical Certificate
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays and extended overnight trips
  • Willingness to relocate a plus
First Officer Minimums:

  • Minimum fixed wing time 3,000- hours *see note 1
  • Minimum multi-engine fixed wing time - 2,000 hours
  • 500 hours pilot in command
  • 1000 hours jet (turbo-jet or turbo prop)
  • 747 FE time credited at one half towards pilot time requirements
  • Must possess current Passport from The United States of America
  • FCC Radio/Telephone license
  • Must be able to travel in and out of U.S. to all countries/cities served by the new airline
  • Current FAA First class Medical Certificate
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays and extended overnight trips
  • Willingness to relocate a plus
Professional Flight Engineer minimums:

  • Total FE time: 2,000 hours
  • Turbojet FE time: 1,000 hours
  • Airframe & Power Plant rating
  • Current FAA First Class Medical to comply with IATA requirements
  • 3 years part 121/135 experience
  • Must possess current Passport from The United States of America
  • FCC Radio/Telephone license
  • Must be able to travel in and out of U.S. to all countries/cities served by the new airline
  • Current FAA First class Medical Certificate
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays and extended overnight trips
  • Willingness to relocate a plus
Second Officer Program Minimums

  • Minimum fixed wing time 2,000- hours *see note 1
  • Minimum multi-engine fixed wing time 1,000- hours *see note 1
  • 500 hours pilot in command
  • 800 hours jet (turbo-jet or turbo prop) *see note 1
  • FE written with a 95% or better score
  • Must possess current Passport from The United States of America
  • FCC Radio/Telephone license
  • Must be able to travel in and out of U.S. to all countries/cities served by the new airline
  • Current FAA First class Medical Certificate
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays and extended overnight trips
  • Willingness to relocate a plus
*Note 1) Focus Air FE credited at a rate of 2:1 to meet First Officer minimums for upgrade.
