Hey Avantair folks

I am wondering what you guys are seeing for pay your first year. I understand that upgrade time can be less than a year, to just a little over a year, but what do you make that first year.

I know airlinepilotcentral says 30k, but for NetJets FOs, it says something like 37k, but the NetJets guys on this site say they make around 50k after you take into consideration per diem (which they say they don't use), overtime and holiday pay, etc.

So back to my question, what are you seeing first year at Avantair?

Thanks

I'm a first year FO and I get $1,200 to $1,600 paychecks. (2 per month). I get 14 nights worth of hotel points and 4 one way trips worth of airline miles. Health care runs around $190 per month for family but I hear we are about to get a "new deal" that should drop that amount quite a bit. Over all I'm very happy here. The company goes out of their way to help me out when needed and I feel like my input is taken seriously. Good luck.

Avantair also has a 5K upgrade bonus when you pass your PIC ride, so first year is at least 35K not factoring in per diem unless you don't upgrade for some reason. I know a few people who are starting upgrade school this week who have been here less than a year. Per diem is $2/hr.

Glasspilot, I thought family insurance was currently around $500/mo. I've heard there's a better deal in the works, but you're saying it's currently $190/mo? Do you know that for sure? Are you on that plan? The reason I ask is that the family insurance issue is what has kept me from applying until now.

Last i checked family insurance was around 500 bucks. Which is why I did something on my own.

Sorry, I meant per check.
