I am SICed in a Falcon 50 out of Dallas/Ft Worth and real new to the corp. world. I got called today for a contract trip and just wanted a little advise on the pay. Any advise would be helpful. Bye the way this contract has a real good chance of becoming a full time job. thanks

Well my advice is that the going rate at the three largest management companies seems to be about $750/day. That however is typically for a current/qualified PIC (who usually acts as an SIC). Not sure what you mean by being "SICed" other than having completed the socalled SIC type training now required by ICAO.
In any case if this has the potential of becoming a full-time gig I'd let them take the first stab at determining the rate. If they ask you well then $750 seems to be a good place to start. If they flinch and come back with something rediculously low then you have a pretty good idea of what a full time position will be like (ugh!) if they are around the $750 mark then they're probably up to speed with current pay rates.

We recently used a mid-west based DA50 crew for some domestic flying. We paid the PIC $750 per day plus expenses. The SIC is on salary with a company we're working with so I don't know what the final bill came to for him. He also would've been paid $750 per day under our normal contract arrangement. For international work the pay would be higher.

Good luck!

PS- Are you typed in the 50?

Thanks for the info. right now I only have a SIC endorcement in the logbook because I work part time at a SIM center helping people with there types and recurrent training from the right seat.
