Anybody familiar with FMLA?
I understand that I am protected under law to take up to 6 weeks unpaid leave for the birth of a child after I have been employeed for at least one year, and may be taken at any time up to one year after the birth. If the baby is born before my one year anniversary, am I able to take a leave after my one year anniversary as long as it hasn't been past one year after the birth. If someone could provide a reference that would be great also. Thanks!
