For all those out there flying two different typed jets for the same Part 91 operation, how is your pay figured? The highest compensated airframe plus some extra for the second aircraft or some other formula? Just for clarification, a GV and Hawker 850.

Thanks,

I was flying a hawker 800xp and a CJ1 and I got hawker 800 pay that was bumped up about 10k. I am now flying the CJ3 and going to GV school and when I get back it will be GV pay bumped by a few. Thats how our company does it all our pilots fly both our airplanes.

Typically pay is based on the largest aircraft you fly for your company. In your case you should be making GV wages at a minimum.

I've heard of operators who want to split the difference or pay according to flight activity in each type (ie: fly the Baron more than the Lear so pay him Baron wages plus a little) but this is yet another way for one persons wallet to grow at the expense of another's.

Fortune 10 company, 2 a/c types in the fleet and no difference in pay whether single or dual rated pilot. Our smallest equipment is a 604 though...

We have three types; DA-900EX Easy, DA-900B and DA-50EX. Some fly two types and some fly all three. The 900B and 50EX are the same type but require a different recurrent. Pay is about the same for everyone. All of the people who have been around longer are special and fly the Easy, so I guess they make a little more based on longevity.

Just for arguments sake, are the wages based on the F900 or F50 pay-scales?
