What are the requirements to be a pilot in the Air Force? How hard is it actually to get a pilot slot, and become a pilot? I am very interested in doing this. Any additional info would be helpful. THANKS

Active Duty Air Force Flying

I do some work with an active duty recruiting unit. Anyone under 28.5 years old with a bachelor degree (or within a year of it) can feel free to PM me...ask as many questions as you want, and if you want, I'll put you in touch with your local recruiter. I am an AF Reserve pilot too, so I can give you the pros and cons of both.

No pressure...just an opportunity (no, I don't have a quota!)

Useful Phone #s

Active Duty Recuiting #1-800-423-USAF (follow the prompts for RESERVE/Guard Links/#s)

AF RESERVE Recruiting # is 1-800-257-1212
...Give them your address, and zip code, and they'll get in in contact with your local Reserve Recruiter...or Active Duty Recruiter

It's not just an adventure...it's a job!
