anyone ever fly with a cast on their hand part 135 sic cargo? is it legal? how would one get authorized?

Couple of years ago, we had a pilot fly the 310 with a cast on his arm. I don't recall that he had to do anything to get if approved. His cast was just up his forearm, not past the elbow, so there was some mobility.

if there are mobility/dexterity issues, better talk to an ame first.

I flew single pilot 135 with a broken right wrist and thumb. My hand, wrist, and forearm were the only things covered. I could use my elbow and 3 fingers. It seemed to work out okay.

I would think that simply going up with a company check airmen to show that you could still handle the airplane in a safe manner should do the trick.
