Yes, I am ashamed to admit it, but I watched that Donald Trump show on NBC - "The Apprentice." I have also seen pictures of his odd-looking 727-100 with winglets that he frequently parks (or displays) at LGA.

So, if you were offered a job to fly his 727 (and he ACTUALLY paid for your type, etc.), would you take it? I hear he is really cheap. Anyone know anything about the pilots who fly for TRUMP and his operation? Would you fly for Trump?

Enjoy!

If Don wants to buy me a type rating I'll go fly for him.

And for the show last night...of course a bunch of hot chicks are going to sell more stuff then guys, especially when they can get 5 bucks for a dixie cup of lemonade if they show the customer a little skin. It's a beautiful thing!

A job is a job regardless of the name on the company. If Trump offered good wages, a good lifestyle, stability, perks etc.... then yes I would. I can deal with him; anyone who has flown corporate and/or charter has dealt with an ego or two along the way. On the other hand, if the job is a revolving door of pilots who are are quickly fed-up with the situation then no I would not.

That being said I cannot imagine that Trump is a joy to fly for. I stayed in a Trump hotel, where I read an article in the Trump magazine about the Trump jet. Something tells me he could care less about the people that do the work for him, but it's just a hunch. Besides, he has his name painted on the side of his aircraft in BIG gold letters. Are we compensating for something maybe??????

Oh Yeah, a 727 type rating

theres a useful rating to have....

heck, if the job was a good job, why not?
the thing sits in Palm Beach most of the winter anyways..could be worse I suppose..
