Just curious how someone would get one of these jobs including quals, pay, aircraft used, and the lifestyle. I will be finishing UPT for the Guard soon and I'm trying to get an idea of the different opportunities out there when I get back.

Thanks

I've been curious about this too. I guess (and this is ONLY a guess) that it probably doesn't pay as well as some of the good corporate jobs, but on the other hand you might have a little more job security. When I started my job hunt I sent resumes to a couple state DOT's that had entries in the NBAA directory; never heard anything from them, even two updates later. I am guessing that's not the way to go about applying.
:D
