CLUNK! (sound of me fainting from sticker shock). 72,000 DOLLARS!!!

Don't do it. There are mom & pop FBO's throughout CA where you could do the same training for half the cost and the same (less?) time. Run a search, there've been some good posts on how to keep the costs of training to a minimum.

Don't let that 10hrs King Air 90 "Turbine transition" time sway your decision. It's meaningless for future employment and you'll probably forget everything in a few weeks after your flights anyway. The most valuable part of it would be the High Altitude endorsement which you can get for A LOT less. Besides, if you decide to get a King Air job down the road you'll be trained per the co.'s SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures). With some multi-time under your belt it will be an easy step up.

When you're working your first low paying, entry level charter/regional job you'll be thankful for every dollar you saved in training. I know I was.:)

GOOD LUCK!!!

Is that the flight school at CNO?

check out www.flymfs.com. mazzei flying service is based at FAT and costs half as much. don't have a turbine aircraft, though.

The flight school that Im talking about is in Chino, and after your advice I went online and found a local school closer to where I live, and offers programs that can give you as much as 250hr multi time, I am going to go talk to them tommorow, thanks again for all your help, I will keep you all updated on what I choose to do, and then tell you how its going!!!
