got a few days off and want to get to a beach with the g/f. debating on going to msy and driving to the fl panhandle area or to mia and driving the keys. wanna keep it as budget as possible but if we find a nice hotel on the beach somewhere i'll splurge a bit. prefer hole-in-the-wall hotels rather than resort type stuff. anyone got any off the beatin' path places they like in either area? thx
