So, how much pilot input did those flying the line have on the MOU the company just signed with the FAA?

I expect management is desperate for some kind of cover against enforcement action as pilot reports to the FAA increase in the coming months.

How much cover can management expect however when the program by law explicitly excludes acts of intentional and calculated wrongdoing or falsification as opposed to those that are only inadvertent?

Your rest time interrupted? I am sure that call to you was purely unintentional, OCC personnel dialed your number by mistake.

Mechanic pencil whips a discrepancy? Problem still apparent on preflight inspection? I am sure those two missing static wicks just inadvertenly went missing again, the mechanic didn't intentionally falsify that he had replaced them.

Mou

In the immortal words of Nixon, I'm sure the company will be saying..... "I'm not a crook!" :bomb:

This program has been well received in the 121 community, once everyone realized it wasn't a "snitch" program. Kudo's to Flight Options for being on the leading edge of bringing ASAP to 135 / Fractional ops.

not the obvious response but a necessary one.

I support the FOLC chairman's position on the Aviation Safety Action Program considering that the MOU as written and implemented is contrary to the fundamental guidelines established for the program and as such is fundamentally and fatally flawed. No Grievance rights, no weingarten rights, no way.
