we were on boston center over cape cod yesterday when flops 715 called in with an engine failure. Just wondering what happened. The controler and the pilots did a great job getting to PVD. Is this another fuel freez up?

Flightaware picture

Saw the flight path picture on Flightaware.com.

In the northern hemisphere when crap goes down the drain it does spin counter-clockwise! They made a few left turns on their way down the tube to Providunce.

Good job fellow airmen. Nobody hurt on the ground safe and sound. Now gird yourselves for the battle with management.

They will MDL the engine!!!!!Dam I hate this place

Nope, he meant MDL

"Maintenance Deferred List." It really exists and FLOPS abuses it regularly.

Consisting of items that "do not affect the airworthiness of the aircraft and are mainly cosmetic in nature." Now all managment has to do is convince our POI that the second engine is "mainly cosmetic in nature." Wonder how long that will take.......

By the way does anyone suppose that FLOPS made the required NTSB 830 report? Things that make you go "Hmmmmmm......"
