I'm curious what the typical requirements are for somebody to get hired on at FSI (say ICT Beech or Cessna) as a sim or ground school instructor? Do they simply want ATP mins, or time in type, or a type rating, etc? I'm very interested in teaching but don't know really know anything about that business. Any info would be appreciated!

As aformer FSI Instructor examiner, you need a ground instructor license, that is about all. Anymore you will never get anycloser to a real airplane that the closest fence. But you CAN get hired with little time and a AGI IGI. That's it
