I don't think your website provides anything different than what we have here. The overall basic design is good, but not overwhelmingly original. Students can ask their questions regarding training on this site and several others. How does your site stand out from the rest?

This is why flightinfo.com is unique in its own form: A student can get his pre-solo fears addressed in the training forum while checking out the colorectal intrusions being performed on pilots by management in the regionals forum.

Why mess with perfection when it's staring right at you?

I appreciate your honesty.

I am hoping what will help attract students is knowing that a flight instructor is moderating the forum. I have been working on building some good moderators to the forum. I already have two DEs signed up to help answer questions...correctly.

I like this forum and have used it a lot, but it tends to attract very sarcastic responses for very serious questions. I want my forum to be fun, but more importantly to provide good serious answers for students who really have questions that need answered.

Thanks again for your review.

Right now, the main "stand-out" quality is that there are no "sarcastic" responses, there are no air carrier answers to GA questions, the site is for honest student pilots asking questions and interested instructors trying to answer those questions in the true spirit of pasing it on.

Right now. I hope we can stay that way.

I think it is a great site. The responses seem to make sense and the inexperienced are not criticized for asking questions that may seem elementry to the rest of us. This board has too many chiefs, and a lot of them have inaccurate responses. It is good to have active CFI's answering questions from different points of view.

Thanks for the responses of both positive and constructive criticism. I think that my board offers some real benefits to student pilots and hope that it does encourage some good discussion and learning. Thanks again. I'm definitely open to any improvements and suggestions you might have as well.

With all due respect, it's easy to avoid sarcastic responses when there have been 8 threads over 6 months with maybe 4 people asking questions and 2 answering them without any disagreement between them.

I've visited and, as you know, am not especially shy about joining online forums. But I really haven't seen anything different than is available at other sites that are geared toward student pilots.

I think that the goal is worthy, but, in addition to marketing so people at least take a look, there needs to be a "catch" that makes people want to stay.

BTW, those "page folding over" ads? Honestly, I found them more annoying than the 46 gazillion ones all over the pages on this site.
