Anyone recommend any good school in the DC area for flight training. I don't have the time for ALLATPS. I was looking for a well run / managed FBO w/ quality (not time building and dragging things out type) CFIs.

Thanks,
LAFF

I would recommend Frederick Flight Center at FDK. Very professionally run operation and its just outside the ADIZ.

Try Dulles Aviation at Manassas (HEF). Its the largest part 141 school in the DC area. HEF is inside the ADIZ, but the CFIs there have been dealing with it for years now and it seems to flow pretty nicely. Dulles Aviaiton has about 25 to 30 CFIs and about 30 planes. Tom Adams is their Cheif Instructor and he runs a pretty tight ship. All maintenance is done inhouse so if a plane breaks its usually down for less than a day, unless its a really big fix. You can give them a call 703-361-2171 from 7am till 10pm 7 days a week or check out thier site http://www.flydai.com
